Connecting a SharePoint 2013 Calendar to Outlook

Navigate to the calendar that you want to connect to Outlook. In this example, I will navigate to the Birthday Calendar.

     Next, I will click on the Calendar tab, then Connect to Outlook. If your Connect to Outlook button is disabled, refresh your page. This is part of the Minimum Download strategy Feature for SharePoint 2013.

Next, you will need to allow the connection to Outlook. I will select the Allow button.

 

 

 

Outlook will open and then I will need to add the connection to the SharePoint Calendar. To do this, select the Yes button.

You will notice that the calendar is opened in Outlook next to your personal calendar.
